Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)
As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.
The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.
As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

The tach-a-matic piece was welded to an arm, not sure what it did but it was part of the home made loader setup. The loader arms were also cut up today, I managed to save a lot of 1" x 3" tubing that will come in handy for something I'm sure. I was surprised that when blasted it looked really good, only surface rust on it.

One is the B80 that had the loader on it, the other looks like a 62 or 63. A lot got done on the B80 inbetween other things, it's close to getting the loader arm setup cut off, it's all welded on there. Why can't peeps just make brackets or something bolt on...

The Big Sale isn't yet officially on but we do sell parts every day. As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts here lately and the new page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything...

I had some parts calls this morning including someone who wanted a complete 520h front swept axle set up with wheels tires and all which I have 6 of them (complete 520's) in the big sale. He also was interested in a 60" deck which I have 3 of, and some other misc parts. After all the parts calls lately I decided to get the new "Big Sale Page" up and going along with some other site work. It will avoid a lot of questions and make life a little easier for me.
I think the biggest help for me will be the constant repetition of "They will be parted out and NOT SOLD COMPLETE, AND NO SHIPPING OPTIONS AT ALL FOR ANY REASON.", and "WE DO NOT SHIP ANY PARTS FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. Please do not ask."
Hopefully that will stop a lot of calls from all over the country that I deal with most every day repeating that over and over to peeps that either aren't listening, don't care what I say, or try to push me into something I have no time for or do not do...
Now if someone calls from seeing that page and mentions buying a complete tractor (in the sale at least, not that we don't have some to sell) or shipping I can just get off the phone and get back to work lol.

After that I did some rearranging in the small garage and had to pull the zero turn out to do it. After that was done I thought I could cut a little grass before I put it up... It was such a nice sunshiny day I ended up cutting all I could here without making tracks, then moved on to the neighbors house down the hill. It was a nice relief from all of this taking frozen parts off of some of these tractors I just couldn't stop.
About an hour ago I thought I would check out the blue looking one. It's a real mess, lots of welding + rigging on it. The first few bolts I took out of it holding the rear fenders broke off. This one will be a long hard road and a lot of it will prob have to be cut apart, we'll see. Judging by the steering, front end + rearend setup it looks to be a 61 701. I have all the correct parts to rebuild it and thought I may do that because it's the same year as me.

Just a few pics here for now. EVERY SINGLE cotter pin, roll pin, and part was completely froze up on this thing. EVERY SINGLE piece had to be drilled, heated, or pressed out. I think it was the challenge that made me keep at it. I'll know more once things are blasted but the only part so far that has to be replaced for sure is the front left upper steering arm. It was broken and welded back, and of course they dropped it and welded the arm right over top of the roll pin. I had to get the mess off and find the pin to drive it out in order to save the axle. There are also a lot of things broken loose, you'll see a small sample of it below. Of course things were welded in a ton of places, I wish I knew who made this mess.

Almost all the tractors in the lot are now organized in rows by body style, short or long frame, etc. It's really nice to be able to go straight to a tractor style now and find what I need when I need it.
Someone got creative on a mid 60's short frame and added a hydraulic lift, pretty cool. The pump on it looks just like the one on my 68 Impala SS 427 convertible and other old convertibles I've worked on. I brought it in because I have someone who needs the lift arm. I figured that would be one part to take off of that one I need while keeping all the others intact + complete.

I looked over my pics and it's something I parted out on March 31 according to the pic date. I think it's the first one I did from the farm. I'll put the pics of it last, it's the one with the small wheels and home made front receiver hitch on it. It also had a few bolts welded under the frame, who knows what they were for. I blasted the front hitch setup and decided to keep it for something, someone did a nice job on it. With all the tractors that have been through here and are here you see a lot of weird things...
I tell peeps all the time I have no idea what's around here but I'm getting a better idea now, almost everything...

The parts that didn't need steam cleaning are all blasted and the rest of the tractor is all apart. The welds on the lift arm + frame are also cleaned up. The steering shaft got a little cleanup and the steering wheel put back on it to move tractors around in the lot that have no steering wheel or shaft. It will stay on the forklift from now on. It's easier to steer and push some of them around than to get the forklift to them.

I've parted a lot of frames in my time and especially in the past few weeks and it never fails the "cotter pin" of choice is usually a nail, (next to last pic).
After that one I cleaned the table again and grabbed the RJ frame (one on the forklift 1st pic) and got it all apart today minus the rearend. I may part it or may not, it's a 5003 and I haven't seen a lot of them, not that I mess with the RJ's very much either. I don't have all the pics on the puter so I'll put them up tomorrow.
I also got one of the big trailers unloaded today so I can go and get some more stuff from the farm over the next few days. Tomorrow and Sat is gonna be 80 degrees and sunny and it's time to enjoy the weather. I'm hoping to finish getting everything out of there by Sat and have one more thing off the list.
